What will you do?
As an Enterprise Architect, you role involves:
- Lead the planning and design of high-level IT architectures and roadmaps that support business strategy and operational goals, ensuring requirements, quality attributes, and constraints are met.
- Collaborate with technical IT architects and development teams to translate business objectives into practical designs and solutions.
- Provide strategic direction by aligning IT capabilities with business goals, covering areas such as cloud, data, enterprise systems, and digital platforms.
- Navigate resistance, resolve conflicts, and create alignment by influencing stakeholders across multiple levels, including business executives and IT leaders.
- Break down complex projects into short, achievable iterations that demonstrate tangible business outcomes for clients and maintain their momentum.
- Work in blended teams (IT, business, operations) to co-create solutions and foster a win-win environment, embracing servant leadership by prioritizing team growth and productive collaboration.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, guiding decision-making and ensuring that digital transformations deliver measurable business value.
Qualifications we value
- 10+ years of experience in IT roles, with a significant part spent in enterprise architecture or IT strategy in a corporate environment.
- A strong technical foundation, ideally having started in IT development, systems architecture, or infrastructure before transitioning into business-focused roles.
- Proven ability to lead or contribute to large-scale business and IT transformation initiatives, involving multiple stakeholders and complex IT systems.
- Experience with selecting and designing fit-for-purpose business SaaS solutions, such as ERP, CRM, or e-commerce platforms. Knowledge of modern enterprise data & AI platform architectures is considered a plus.
- Ability to operate in an agile delivery context while ensuring long-term architectural alignment.
- Excellent communication & people skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and connect with both business leaders and technical teams.
- Conflict resolution and decision arbitration skills to align diverse perspectives and mediate productive collaboration between business and IT stakeholders.
- Pragmatic and outcome-driven approach, with the ability to structure ambiguity and deliver impactful business results.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
